MAKE A CREATIVE PROJECT YOU WOULDN'T NORMALLY MAKE

I don't ordinarily create cards but when I saw the free image for the Card Challenge at Gecko Galz, I had to give it a try! 

I learned that creating something new in a different genre can wake up, or re-charge my creativity. It is good to open my mind up to new ideas and techniques as all artists can get in a creative rut. We make the same things with the same techniques to "play it safe" with our creativity and forget that we need to be creating outside of the box to grow to be the artist we aspire to be. 

Pushing the boundaries of our creativity takes creating something we would never have created before! I was pleasantly surprised at the results of my cardmaking and have decided to continue to create more of them in the future!!

SHARING A VALENTINE'S DAY CARD WITH SOMEONE WHO WON'T EXPECT IT

I am sending out this Special Valentine to my Dear Father from my Mother! He will not be expecting this because we lost my Mother last October. Throughout the years they were married, they shared a lifetime of cards to each other for every occasion except this Valentine's Day, sad to say, he did not receive a card from her. I am sending him this card from me and from my Mother in memory of her and their love for each other. This Valentine Card is to let him know that even though she is gone, she is still with him in her heart! True Love is Eternal!
